HINES – Last night around 7:30, Burns and Hines fire departments responded to a report of a shop fully engulfed in flames at 217 South Jones in Hines. OTEC was also notified as the fire ignited several power lines. The shop was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and the fire was extinguished after about two hours. Along with the shop being a total loss, the fire also damaged a motor home and side-by-side parked next to the shop. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
