Fire destroys home in Adams

ADAMS – East Umatilla Fire and Rescue was dispatched at 2:50 a.m. Monday to a structure fire at 580 Williams Street in Adams. Upon arrival, the deck of the manufactured home was on fire and the fire was extending into the attic.
EUFR reports a dog inside the home was rescued and a cat hasn’t been located yet.
The Umatilla Tribal Fire Department responded with an ambulance and Pendleton Fire and Ambulance responded with an engine to assist.
The American Red Cross is assisting those displaced by the fire.
No injuries were reported.
