Fire damages home, camper trailer

WALLA WALLA – Firefighters responded to a possible residential structure fire Tuesday night on the 1200 block of North Clinton Street. Dispatch received calls that there was furniture burning near a camper trailer and that a fire had reached the side of a house.
Firefighters arrived on scene and quickly determined the exterior of the home, camper trailer, and surrounding contents were on fire. Crews made entry into the residence and camper trailer to begin putting out the fire and to ensure no occupants were inside.
No injuries were reported to firefighters or occupants. Damage to property and contents is estimated at $20,000 and the cause of the fire is currently undetermined.
