Fire crews contain Root Spring wildfire at 3/4 of an acre

GRANT COUNTY –  Fire crews on the Malheur National Forest responded to the Little North Fork of the Malheur River yesterday for a small wildfire, according to information from wildcad.net.

The Root Spring wildfire grew to three-quarters of an acre before it was listed as contained. A cause of the blaze has not been listed.
