Final Northeast Trout Stocking of the Year Scheduled for September

WALLOWA COUNTY – For anglers still hoping to catch some trout this season, the final trout stocking of 2023 for the Northeast Oregon District is scheduled for mid-September. In total, five bodies of water, all within the jurisdiction of ODFW’s Enterprise office, will be stocked between September 18 and 23. These bodies and the number of fish being stocked are as follows:

Honeymoon Pond-100 Legals

McCraw Pond – 100 Legals

Teepee Pond – 100 Legals

Salt Creek Summit Pond – 100 Legals

Kinney Lake – 2000 Legal

Trout stocking will resume for Northeast Oregon in March 2024.
