WALLA WALLA โ The Walla Walla Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization seeks community feedback for the 2050 Transportation Plan. A community meeting is scheduled for Feb. 24 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Walla Walla Community College in the Water and Environmental Center, 640 Water Center Drive in Walla Walla.
Attendees can share ideas to influence the regionโs future transportation system, which will span the next 25 years.
The 2050 Transportation Plan will shape the regionโs transportation system focusing on strategies and projects for roads, transit, freight, and more. It aims to match the system with economic, environmental, and social goals.
The project seeks feedback through the organizationโs website where community members can learn, share feedback, access updates, and find information about public meetings. The planning organization encourages community involvement, and feedback will help identify regional priorities for the plan.
