HARNEY COUNTY-Emergency crews are on the scene of a newly ignited, fast-moving wildfire burning north of Bald Mountain. Dubbed the Riddle Fire, the blaze has already scorched an estimated 250 acres and continues to spread rapidly through dry grass and brush.

Fire officials report that erratic wind conditions in the area are posing significant challenges, making early containment efforts difficult for responders.
