LA GRANDE – Façade work has been completed on the Old Time Mercantile Building in downtown La Grande, home of Community Kindness of Eastern Oregon, a local non-profit thrift store whose profits are used to assist individuals & organizations within the community.
The façade restoration work was made possible thanks to a grant through La Grande Main Street.
Liz Meyer, owner of Community Kindness of Eastern Oregon says that the new art reflects her and her husband Grant. She hopes that everyone enjoys the new look at much as they do and is excited to be able to highlight the two cultures.
Also, inside the building, located at 1315 Adams Ave is TJ’s Jewelry Repair Shop and PnD Knives and Sharping Services.
