JOHN DAY – Grant County Emergency Management Coordinator Eric Bush was on KJDY’s Coffee Time Tuesday morning, speaking on the current high-water situation in Grant County. He said here locally, the highest rises are expected toward the end of the work week:
“It’s been pretty close as time goes on. It’s [been] about a week out. Right now, we’re looking at around Friday…late Friday-Saturday, a significant increase in the John Day [River]. It’s all one system, so that’ll include Canyon Creek and everything that feeds it.”
