Evacuation levels lifted in Harney County

HARNEY COUNTY-The Harney County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Falls Fire Incident Command NW2, and Harney County Emergency Management is LIFTING ALL evacuation levels that were imposed for the Falls and Telephone Fires 2024.
Forest closures remain in place, follow U.S. Forest Service-Malheur National Forest for more information including maps.
The Harney County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind everyone that the fires are still burning and there may be areas that will continue to burn/smolder for some time. Fire crews remain in the area doing mop up and other repair work
