UMATILLA & UNION COUNTIES — (Press release from the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office) August 8, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. A Joint Emergency Operation Center including Umatilla County Sheriffโs Office, Umatilla County Emergency Management, Union County Sheriffโs Office, Union County Emergency Management and Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) remain actively engaged with the Incident Management Team for Hagen Fire.
Due to overnight fire behavior (and projected behavior through today) including predicted weather conditions, the remote location of these affected areas and the challenging terrain, evacuation levels have been increased on the HAGEN FIRE, including road closures on Highway 204.
Effectively immediately evacuation levels have been elevated in these areas of Union County:
UNION COUNTY
NEW – LEVEL 3 (GO NOW)
Evacuation Zones: UCO – 140624S UCO – 140630A UCO – 140619A UCO – 140619C UCO – 140619B UCO – 140624N-B
NEW – LEVEL 3 (GO NOW) areas in Union County include east of Highway 204 and SE of USFS 64 Road to 6406 intersection, then south and west of Swamp and Lookingglass creeks extending east of the forest boundary, and west of the national forest boundary extending to mile 32.5 on Highway 204.
Residents in LEVEL 3 areas should leave immediately. Imminent danger in the area. Leave without delay. It is unsafe to stay. ——————————————

Evacuation Zones: UCO – 140630B
UCO – 140624N-A
UCO – 140622 UCO – 140619D NEW – LEVEL 2 (BE READY) areas in Union County include the area north of Swamp Creek south and east of the Umatilla County line (south of the USFS 63 Road) and south of the 63 road and west of the national forest boundary.
NEW – LEVEL 1 (BE SET)
Evacuation Zones: UCO – 1513
UCO – 1505
UCO – 1497 UCO – 1495 UCO – 1485 UCO – 1476 UCO – 1463
NEW – LEVEL 1 (BE SET) areas in Union County include the area east of the national forest boundary and south of the USFS 63 Road that is west of Robinson and Keen Cabin roads, including upper Gordon Creek Road north of (not including Sammyville>
All other previously issued levels in Union County remain the same.
