Evacuation levels continue to go down in Harney County

HARNEY COUNTY-With the continued progress on the Falls and Telephone Fires 2024, the Harney County Sheriff’s Office is lowering evacuation levels in some areas.

𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝟐 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝟏 (𝐁𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲): The area south of Highway 20, from Newton Rd to Crane-Buchanan Road.

𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐭𝐨 𝐍𝐎 𝐋𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋: The area south of Highway 20, from Fry Road to Newton, Most of Foley & Lone Pine (except what remains in Level 3), and the areas west and south of the Falls Fire Level 3 zones.
