Equipment accident ignites Half Creek Fire near Mt. Vernon, OR

MT VERNON – The Mt. Vernon and John Day Fire Departments are responding to a location approximately 4 miles up Ingle Creek Road for the report of an equipment accident that resulted in a fire. Scanner traffic indicated that those involved at the scene did not require medical attention. WildCAD has the Half Creek Fire listed at 1 acre.
