LA GRANDE – (Release from Eastern Oregon University) The NAIA released the results of the Women’s Wrestling Coaches’ Top 20 Poll of the 2022-23 season Thursday morning. Eastern Oregon University was bumped up to No. 11, four spots higher than they held in the previous rankings.
Eastern has posted strong showings at two tournaments in this young 2022-23 season. The Mounties dominated the Spokane Open tallying 10 placers in their first showing of the year. The Mounties followed their dominant performance with nine placers at the Battle of the Rockies tournament hosted by the University of Providence.
Coming in at No. 11 as a team, EOU also had eight individuals earn top-25 rankings in their weight classes. All ranked individuals are listed below.
