EOU Women’s Track and Field Remains in Top 10 Nationally

LA GRANDE – (Release from Eastern Oregon University) The U.S. Track and Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released the Week 5 edition of the NAIA Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Rating Indexes for the 2023 outdoor season. Eastern Oregon University Women’s Track and Field remained steady in the ratings, sitting in the top 10 nationally at No. 9 while the men remained at No. 3 in the West Region rankings.
 
USTFCCCA also ranks schools based on their strength in each event in its Event Squad Rankings. In total the Mountaineers ranked in the top 10 in the nation in 13 events, seven for the women and six for the men.

800 Meter Run: #2
High Jump: #5
Shot Put: #7
Discus: #9
Hammer Throw: #6
Javelin: #2
