LA GRANDE – (Release from Eastern Oregon University) The NAIA has announced the third installment of the 2022 Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Ratings as of Wednesday, Dec. 14. The Lady Mountaineers have officially worked their way into the top 25 sitting at No. 20 in the nation.

Prior to the ranking, Eastern had received votes in the first two polls, but this is their first time making it into the top 25 this season. In their latest weekend of action, the Mounties beat rival College of Idaho by an impressive 41 points and followed that game up with an exhibition win over Whitman College. Through the first stretch stretch of the season, EOU currently sits at 6-1 with their only official loss coming to No. 18 Montana Western.

The Mountaineers continue conference play this weekend taking on Warner Pacific on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and Multnomah on Saturday at 3 p.m. Both games will be played in Quinn Coliseum at home.
