La Grande – (Release from Eastern Oregon University) The U.S. Track and Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released the Week 3 edition of the NAIA Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Rating Indexes for the 2023 outdoor season. Eastern Oregon University remained steady in both the women’s and men’s ratings, sitting in the top 30 nationally. The women stayed at No. 10 nationally and No. 3 in the West Region. The men also remained at No. 27 overall but moved up to No.4 in the West Region.
USTFCCCA also ranks schools based on their strength in each event in its Event Squad Rankings. In total the Mountaineers ranked in the top 10 in the nation in 14 events, seven for the women and seven for the men.

High Jump: #3
Shot Put: #6

Hammer Throw: #4
Javelin: #2
