EOU Offers Free Tickets to Military members for “Hero Day”

LA GRANDE — (Release by EOU) As a token of its gratitude for dedicated service to our community and nation, Eastern Oregon University is offering free admission and one extra complimentary ticket to all first responders, active military members and veterans for the following exciting games on September 30th:
EOU Mountaineers Football Game at 1:00 PM
· Receive one free ticket for yourself and one additional free ticket to bring a guest along to enjoy the action.
Men’s Soccer Match at 4:00 PM
· Free admission for you and your guest to cheer on our men’s soccer team.
Women’s Soccer Match at 6:30 PM
· Stick around to support our dynamic women’s soccer team in their evening match. Free admission for you and your guest continues throughout the day.
EOU Athletics will be taking the opportunity to recognize and honor active military members, veterans, and first responders during these games as a small token of our appreciation for the incredible contributions they have made to our community.
To claim free admission and complimentary ticket, individuals must provide proof of service.
We encourage all first responders, active military members and veterans to bring their family and friends to enjoy a day filled with athletic excellence, camaraderie, and community spirit.
