EOU Homecoming Parade to Temporarily Close Adams Avenue in La Grande

LA GRANDE — In celebration of Eastern Oregon University’s Homecoming, a lively parade is set to take over Adams Avenue on Friday, October 13, from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The affected area spans Adams Ave. between 4th Street and Hemlock Street.
The parade, a highlight of the homecoming festivities, is scheduled to kick off at 4th Street. Participants will assemble starting at 4:00 pm, with the procession officially commencing at 4:30 pm, moving east along Adams Avenue before concluding at Hemlock Street.
Residents and commuters are advised to plan alternative routes during the specified closure hours. The event promises a vibrant display of school spirit, featuring floats, marching bands, and various university groups.
