EOLS Wraps Up Successful Week; Youth Auction Raises Over $775K

UNION — The legendary Eastern Oregon Livestock Show (EOLS) officially wrapped up another spectacular year last week and organizers are extending a massive thank you to the thousands of attendees who packed the stands for a packed schedule of events, including the high-energy bull riding, traditional rodeo and races, dances, and livestock auction.

The undisputed highlight of the week, however, was the annual 4-H and FFA youth livestock auction. Demonstrating the region’s deep commitment to its agricultural youth, local community members and businesses turned out in droves, bringing in a staggering total of more than $775,000 for the young exhibitors.

Plans are already underway for next year’s festivities. The oldest livestock show will return to Union from June 6th to 13th, 2027
