ENTERPRISE, OR – Erika Pinkerton, Superintendent of Enterprise School District has announced that school will return to normal for the 2021-2022 school year. During the latest School District Board meeting, a report was received from Pinkerton, outlining the Oregon Department of Education’s guidance, which allows local control to school districts as to how the district responds to COVID-19. The report allowed Superintendent Pinkerton to make a recommendation to the board that masking and social distancing are not required. The board agreed by voting unanimously to support the Superintendent’s recommendation.
The district is required to submit a plan to the Oregon Department of Education if there were to be an outbreak of COVID-19 based upon the Ready Schools Safe Learners guidance.
Pinkerton said the staff of Enterprise School District is extremely grateful for the grace that was demonstrated by our community during this extremely stressful time.
