ENTERPRISE – The City of Enterprise Police Department will be enforcing the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign through January 1st.  Police Officers will be working tirelessly to spread the word about the dangers of drunk driving.  Chief McQuead says if you plan to drink, plan ahead for a sober ride home and it is never okay to drink and drive. This Christmas season, the Enterprise Police Department encourages citizens to be responsible when it comes to driving while impaired. Officers with the Enterprise Police Department will be working extended patrol shifts through New Year’s Day in an attempt to prevent and apprehend impaired drivers. The extra hours worked are funded by a grant through the Oregon Department of Transportation. While Deputies will primarily be looking for impaired drivers, they will also be focusing their attention on distracted drivers using cellular phones and unsafe driving practices.
