UNION COUNTY – On Saturday, March 2, at approximately 10:45 a.m., the Oregon State Police (OSP) responded to a crash involving two semi-trucks along I-84 roughly 6.5 miles southeast of La Grande. The crash specifically took place near Milepost 268 along I-84 westbound and ultimately resulted in the closure of the westbound lanes for roughly 2.5 hours. The full OSP description of the incident is as follows:

β€œOn stated date and time OSP responded to a two CMV crash that occurred near MP 268 on I-84WB. Vehicle combo 1/1A (white Freightliner) was traveling behind vehicle combo 2/2A (gray Freightliner) when vehicle 2/2A experienced engine trouble and began traveling a speed well below the speed limit.
