ELGIN – The Summer Learning Program at the Elgin Public Library is in full swing. This program runs every Thursday from 10:30am to 11:30am, thru July 27, and features a variety of presenters from around the county. This years Summer Learning Program theme is “Find Your Voice.”
Most recently the library hosted a couple of Elkhorn Media Group staff members, who spent some time talking about music with the children and coloring. In addition, children in attendance were able to learn about recording their voices and were able to record each of their voices reading from a book. After some creative editing to make the recordings sound like elves, the children listened back to the book hearing all of their voices. Check out the kids work here.
The Elgin Public Library Facebook page provides information on who will be next to visit the library. Photos from Elkhorn Media Groups visit can be found at https://www.facebook.com/readinginelgin/posts/pfbid02JVqmmM5g5yn7Hh2ZNNrru8HDUnrNx22XFRdH8Dw2XvgND6sf9jF3GF8ppNoGF97ml
