Elgin Stampede gearing up for their 74th year

ELGIN, OR – The 74th Annual Elgin Stampede is gearing up for this year’s event the second full weekend of July. Bailey Vernam and Sarah Baker are the Stampede Princesses. This year the stampede announced the 2021 Grand Marshals, Dale and Julanne Clark. Dale and Julianne have been life-long supporters and became part of the Stampede family in 1956. During their time as active members Dale served as the Rodeo Chairman and oversaw ticket sales.
Also Jerry and Donna Lou Williams have been selected as the 2021 Legends Inductees. In 2008, the Elgin Stampeders created the “Legends of the Elgin Stampede” to recognize, honor, and pay tribute to those individuals who have made significant contributions in maintaining, promoting, and supporting the Elgin Stampede organization, its community events, its facilities, and especially the success of the annual Elgin Stampede.
The PRCA Rodeo begins at the Elgin Stampede Grounds on July 7th and continues through the 10th. The Kids and Stampede Grand Parade will be held July 10th, plus a host of entertainment for the whole family.
