Elgin Chamber of Commerce announces 2026 banquet award recipients

ELGIN – The Elgin Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual banquet on the evening of Thursday, March 12. For anyone that couldn’t attend the event in person, the chamber has posted this year’s outstanding award winners. Businesses and individuals honored at the banquet were:

  • Business of the Year: The Hen House 
  • Educator of the Year: Lisa Lathrop
  • Man of the Year: Gene Rysdam
  • Young Man of the Year: Tony Lambert
  • Employee of the Year: Kendall Noyes
  • Organization of the Year: Elgin Oregon Food Bank 
  • Woman of the Year: Melodie Nichols
  • Young Woman of the Year: Tiffany Lambert

In a post announcing the awardees and thanking the community, the chamber wrote:

“The Elgin Chamber of Commerce would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the Chamber Banquet and to all of the volunteers, sponsors, and community members who helped make the evening possible. Events like this are a reminder of just how strong and supportive our community truly is.

Your dedication, hard work, and commitment to our community do not go unnoticed. We are proud to celebrate each of you and the impact you make in Elgin.
