EASTERN OREGON — A bevy of local high school girls basketball stars represented Eastern Oregon well this past season.
In recognition of their exceptional performance, many of these players are now being honored as top athletes in the state.
The Oregon Basketball Coaches Association has announced its 1A Girls All-State teams, selected through voting by coaches across the state.
State champs Crane, who finished a dominating regular season by going undefeated, dominated the top awards such as Player of the Year for senior Kortney Doman and Coach of the Year for Tomika Doman, Kortney’s mother.
Powder Valley’s Jodi Bingham also earned her way to first team honors, with many other athletes from Eastern Oregon making the list.
