Drug Take Back Event brings in 93lbs of medications

LA GRANDE – Results are in from last weekend’s bi-Annual Drug Take Back event in La Grande. According to the La Grande Police Department (LGPD), 93 pounds of expired, unneeded, and unwanted prescription medications will be safely and responsibly disposed of.
LGPD notes “We genuinely appreciate our community, Union County Safe Communities Coalition, Northeast Oregon Network – NEON, and Safeway for the partnerships to make these events happen.
If you missed the event, don’t worry, you can safely dispose of your expired, unwanted, or unneeded prescription drugs at one of a number of drug drop boxes within our community at anytime. Follow this link for a list of the locations: https://www.cityoflagrande.org/…/drug_take_back…
