BEND(Released from Central Oregon Drug Enforcement)-On October 24th, 2024, at approximately 7:30 PM, the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement Team, in collaboration with members of the Central Oregon Emergency Response Team and Bend Police Department, concluded a drug investigation with the arrest of North O’Connor, age 42.
The CODE Team conducted a drug investigation which revealed O’Connor was selling a variety of illegal “party drugs” from his residence in the 1300 block of NW Lexington Ave. in Bend. This location is within 1000 ft. of Westside Village Magnet at Kingston School in Bend which made this case a priority for our team.
On August 24th, 2024, at approximately 7:30 PM, members of the Central Oregon Emergency Response Team conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle North O’Connor was driving, the vehicle information will not be disclosed, this occurred in the area of NE 4th St./Greenwood Ave. in Bend. O’Connor was taken into custody on probable cause of him distributing cocaine.
CODE Detectives completed and were granted a search warrant for him, the vehicle he was driving, and his residence.
CODE Detectives, with the assistance of the CERT Team and Bend Police Department, served the search warrant on him, his vehicle, and at his residence in the 1300 block of NW Lexington Ave. in Bend. at approximately 8:30 PM. During the search warrant service detectives located cocaine, MDMA (known as ecstasy), ketamine, marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, steroids, cash, packaging material, scales, and drug paraphernalia, all consistent with O’Connor possessing and distributing illegal narcotics.
North O’Connor was transported and lodged at the Deschutes County Adult Jail.
CODE Detectives were assisted by the Central Oregon Emergency Response Team and the Bend Police Department during this investigation.
This is an ongoing investigation, more charges, and more arrests may be conducted.
Criminal complaints contain only charges; defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

The Oregon-Idaho HIDTA program is an Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) sponsored counterdrug grant program that coordinates and provides funding resources to multi-agency drug enforcement task forces to disrupt or dismantle local, multi-state and international drug trafficking organizations.
