Drive-by shooting suspect arrested

KENNEWICK – A man who was arrested in Stanfield, Oregon was extradited Wednesday to Benton County, Washington for his alleged involvement in a shooting that occurred last month in a business parking lot in Kennewick.

Diego Ibarra, 20, is currently being held in the Benton County Jail on a $100,000 bond on charges of drive-by shooting and second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

Ibarra, driving a white sedan, is accused of allegedly firing back towards a white pickup who was following him on the 4600 block of West Clearwater Avenue around 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 12.

The Kennewick Police Department reports there were no known injuries as a result of this incident.
