Dozier joins Senate budget committee, retains leadership post

OLYMPIA – Sen. Perry Dozier (R-Waitsburg) has been appointed to the Senate Ways and Means Committee as assistant Republican leader on the capital budget.
He remains the Republican leader on the Senate Business, Financial Services, Gaming and Trade Committee, and returns to the Early Learning and K-12 Education Committee.
Last week, he was re-elected to the Senate Republican Caucus leadership team and will continue as deputy whip.
Dozier will take the oath of office again on Jan. 13, 2025, when the legislative session convenes.
