PENDLETON – The Pendleton Development Commission got good news from its Façade Committee this week.
“They said there’s actually a buyer for the old Pioneer Title building, which includes the Packard Tavern,” Mayor John Turner said.
It’s considered likely that the new owner, who Turner said must remain nameless at this time, will not only renovate the façade but also apply for an upper story grant for the three-story building on Southeast Court Avenue.
“I think the goal is to put some apartments in there,” Turner said.
