LA GRANDE — A La Grande woman faces multiple charges after being arrested for two separate disturbances and alleged assaults.
Jennifer Lucky, 26, wasn’t so lucky when she was arrested on August 21 in La Grande. She faces charges of Assault III and Disorderly Conduct II.
The first disturbance occurred at a residence on 20th Street, where Lucky and Jelintha Langrine, 30, were reported to have assaulted a former acquaintance. By the time officers arrived, Lucky had left the scene. A resident at the address reported that Lucky, accompanied by two other women, attacked her, resulting in minor injuries. Langrine was arrested and also charged with assault.
Later in the day, officers responded to another disturbance at a residence on 12th Street involving Lucky and another person. Lucky was arrested at this location for Assault III and Disorderly Conduct related to the earlier incident at 20th Street and Disorderly Conduct for the altercation on 12th Street.
Lucky did not cooperate with police during the investigation. The case remains ongoing, and further charges may be considered.
