ELGIN, OR – In partnership with Portland State University, the City of Elgin will be conducting a Community Income Survey. The survey is necessary because the City is applying for a Community Development Block Grant and as a part of the application the community has to provide the State with a current estimate of the incomes of residents of the community.
The survey will first be mailed to all households in Elgin, followed by phone calls to households that do not return a paper survey by mail. It will be conducted in a manner that is totally confidential, so your privacy will be protected.
The accuracy of the survey is very important and the City is asking for your help in obtaining this information. The survey will be simple and will only ask a very small amount of questions and the answers will be confidential. Your cooperation is very important and the City is asking for your help. If you have any questions please contact City Hall at (541) 437-2253.
