District announces hiring of new Business Director

LA GRANDE – (Information provided by the La Grande School District) Effective July 1, 2021, Michelle Glover will become the new business director for the La Grande School District, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of current Business Director Chris Panike.
Glover has over 30 years of experience in the fields of finance and accounting, seventeen of which have beenin an educational environment. Glover is currently employed as the business manager at Baker SchoolDistrict.
La Grande School District Superintendent George Mendoza said, “I am happy to welcome Michelle Glover. She has significant experience in the fiscal management of school districts and she will contribute a great deal to our district leadership team.”
