Detour planned for Northeast Oregon Public Transit routes in La Grande tomorrow

LA GRANDE – A heads up for La Grande residents that local buses will be taking a different route downtown tomorrow. Due to public works closing a portion of Washington Ave. and Depot St. for water line work, Northeast Oregon Public Transit’s blue and yellow lines will have a slight detour to avoid the work zone.
According to Community Connection of Northeast Oregon, all listed stops for both routes will still be served as normal, but the yellow route in particular will not pass by the post office per usual. In a recent post announcing the temporary detour, Community Connection wrote, “We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work around these closures to keep you moving!”
