Detectives investigating homicide in Basin City

BASIN CITY – Detectives from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a homicide on the 200 block of Loen Drive in Basin City, which is about 30 miles north of Kennewick. A 911 call was placed Sunday morning reporting a male was found unresponsive in front of a residence on that block.

The deceased male has been identified as Huber Perez-Morales, 24, of Basin City. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

The investigation is currently ongoing, and no arrests have been made. Detectives have reason to believe this is an isolated incident. Anyone with additional information regarding this incident can call 509-628-0333.
