Desolation wolves injure Grant County calf

GRANT COUNTY โ€“ A Grant County calf was injured recently from wolves, confirmed by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. Livestock depredation documents show that on October 1st, an injured 7-month-old bovine calf was found near Trout Road on a 30,000-acre public land allotment. The injury is estimated to have occurred approximately six days prior to the investigation.

The attack was confirmed to be caused by wolves of the Desolation Pack in Grant County. Nothing further was released on the incident.
