DeRosier to spend 8.3 years behind bars on probation violation

CANYON CITY – A man will spend a few more years in custody following a probation violation. Jacob Michael DeRosier was sentenced to 100 months—or around 8.3 years— imprisonment, followed by 60 months on post-prison supervision. DeRosier was found guilty of consuming intoxicants, failing to report to the probation officer as directed, and associating with known drug users. The hearing was held May 28th.
