Deputy Ratchick is back on Grant County Sheriff’s Office patrol

JOHN DAY – Grant County Sheriff Todd McKinley informed Coffee Time listeners Thursday morning that Deputy Ratchick is back from the DPSST police academy, and on patrol:
“Mike Ratchick, he’s graduated from the academy last Friday. So, he’s back. He’s on the road. Just—even that one spot, it’s huge having that person back for our area. We’re still in the process of filling two other positions we were granted last year during the budget season. We’re getting more promising applicants for different positions, and so it’s finally starting to look up a little bit in that aspect.”
