Deceased male located across from Mesa post office

MESA – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting a death investigation in Mesa after a deceased male was discovered Wednesday. The victim has been identified Robert Chervenell, 55.

Chervenell’s body was discovered Wednesday after a 911 call was made reporting a deceased man was found in a camper trailer on a vacant lot on the 100 block of First Avenue across from the post office. An autopsy will be performed today (Friday).

On Thursday, investigators interviewed two persons of interest. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
