Deadline to apply for FFA State Officer Board is January 31

EASTERN OREGON – Attention Eastern Oregon FFA members. The Oregon FFA would like to remind all prospective state officer candidates that the deadline to apply for the Oregon FFA State Officer Team is quickly approaching. All required materials must be submitted to the Oregon FFA Association by 5:00 P.M., January 31, 2025. 

Applications must be submitted through the AET system by the deadline, including signature pages, information pages, participation form pages, and an official transcript of grades from the last high school attended by the candidate. The state officer candidate letter must also be sent as a PDF to lee@oregonffa.com.

As a reminder, minimum requirements (as listed in the 2025-2026 Oregon FFA State Officer Candidate Guidebook), include: 

  1. State Officer Candidates must hold the State FFA Degree or be receiving the degree during the convention if he/she is to be a candidate
  2. State Officer Candidates must be a senior in high school who will graduate in June of the year of application or apply the year following graduation.  
  3. No more than two State Officers may be elected from any one district in the state, and not more than one officer from any one chapter.
  4. State Officers shall not attend college during Summer, Fall or Winter terms during their year of service, unless an exception is granted by the Executive Secretary.
  5. Pass a background check through CrimCheck that reviews background and social media.
