PENDLETON – Another round of Path to Success grants is approaching. The popular business plan competition is for those interested in opening businesses downtown.

“We’re particularly looking for retail businesses, food and beverage businesses, businesses that will attract folks – residents and visitors – to downtown,” Pendleton Urban Renewal Associate Director Charles Denight said.

There will be four business plans selected to receive $20,000 grants. The winners also will have access to advice as they open their businesses.

More information about the competition is available at https://pendletonurbanrenewal.com/pts/.

Editor’s note: Denight talks in-depth about Path to Success on the KUMA Coffee Hour from Feb. 12. He is joined by two prior winners of the grants. They are Mariha Falconer of Herbal by Design and Tim McFetridge of Flying X Speakeasy. A podcast of the show is available at https://omny.fm/shows/coffee-hour-podcast.
