LA GRANDE – A reminder to La Grande residents, the deadline is fast approaching to give feedback on La Grande’s new public splash pad designs. Unveiled in December 2025, two potential design concepts are up for consideration. The deadline to provide feedback and vote on a preferred design is Thursday, January 15.
Note that Parks and Rec is only considering design votes submitted through a Google Form, which can be found here.
As a further reminder for anyone that missed the original announcement, Parks and Rec previously confirmed via social media that the new pad, regardless of design, will be built in place of the current fenced-in pad at Veteran’s Memorial Pool, taking advantage of the pre-existing plumbing infrastructure and proximity to Pioneer Park. In addition, the new splash pad will not be connected to the pool directly and instead will be open and free to the public.
