HARNEY COUNTY-In honor of National Drug Take Back Day — which will be observed Saturday, April 27 — Harney District Hospital invites you to safely dispose of unused or expired medications in our Medsafe receptacle. Open 24/7, our Medsafe receptacle can be found near the hospital’s emergency entrance.
Get a free tote bag and pill box when you safely dispose of your medications at Harney District Hospital the week of April 22-27 (while supplies last).
* Please note that Medsafe receptacles are for unused and/or expired narcotics and non-controlled and over-the-counter medications. Please DO NOT include illegal drugs, containers with more than 4 ounces of liquid, sharps containers, needles, syringes, batteries, aerosol spray cans, aerosol inhalers, garbage, medical devices, chemicals, or any hazardous materials.
Other local Drug Take Back sites include the Burns Police Department, Hines City Hall, and Safeway.
