DAYVILLE – Dr. Davida Irving is settling in as Dayville School’s new Superintendent/Principal, according to a recent release. Dr. Irving recently issued a ‘Superintendent’s Message’ to the community and invites anyone to swing by the school and say “hi” if you have the chance. Dr. Irving was also on KJDY’s Coffee Time not long ago and expressed similar remarks:

“I would just love to tell everybody how excited I am to be part of the Dayville School District, and how much I’m looking forward to working very, very closely with the teachers; with the staff; with the parents; with the school board; with every member of the community.”

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the start of the 2022-2023 school year. How fortunate I am to be the educational leader of such a special place! We care about our children, and we make a positive difference in the lives of our students every day. The Dayville School District achieves academic excellence, and the opportunities offered beyond the classroom setting are exemplary. We provide enriching learning experiences for students at all levels. As an educator, I wholeheartedly value the programs and services in place, and I am committed to building upon past practices to ensure that current and future students have opportunities to explore their interests and find their true passions.

In addition to the strong educational program, the level of community involvement is impressive. The sense of pride in our school is evident as I am experiencing it firsthand. Our faculty members, staff, parents, students and residents are extremely welcoming and supportive. Our genuine, meaningful and heart-felt communication is the key to ensuring the continued success of our students, school, and community.

Please know that I am available to everyone and maintain an open-door communication policy. I encourage and welcome any questions, suggestions, comments, or concerns you have. Feel free to stop by and visit or call me at school any time, and I can also be reached directly at 401-497-4944.
