DAYVILLE – Dayville School will be growing soon. Superintendent Dr. Davida Irving was on KJDY’s Coffee Time explaining to listeners that the school district has recently purchased two modular classrooms:
“We started talking about the need for a few classrooms to house our Music Department, to have a weight room…to have a classroom for Theater Arts; and then, all of the sudden, we found out that Salem-Keizer was selling two modular buildings with two classrooms in each. And each one has its own bathroom.”
Dr. Irving said purchasing the buildings was the easy part. Plans are in the works to get them to Dayville, and the Superintendent expects the new additions to be ready for students this fall.
