DAYVILLE – Grant County Sheriff Todd McKinley issued a press release Friday morning regarding a search for Dayville resident Gibb Gregg. Find the full press release below:

On the evening of July 4th near 1030 pm, Gibb Gregg, 88, of Dayville was reported missing after apparently going for a drive.
Gregg was later reported as having been seen in the Oregon Mine area off of the USFS 21 road. Family and friends had driven the South Fork road to Murders Creek, but he was nowhere to be found. Other locations were searched as well, and an APB was sent out on him.
Near 8:00 am, Rocky Perkins of Dayville, located Gibbs in his vehicle that had crashed off the edge of the South Fork road near mile post 6.
Dayville Fire and family and friends, helped remove Gibbs from the vehicle and get him to the roadway, where he was transported to the Blue Mt. Hospital. Gibbs is reportedly in stable condition.
