Cycle Oregon’s 2021 Community Grant Projects

EASTERN OREGON – (Information provided by Cycle Oregon)Cycle Oregon began placing proceeds from events into the Cycle Oregon Fund in 1996, awarding 328 grants totaling $2.5MM to communities all across Oregon through 2020. As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Cycle Oregon Fund we are delighted to announce the following Community Grant Projects. We’ll begin a series of in-depth features on each project beginning in the New Year. Stay tuned here and to the Cycle Oregon blog for more.

2021 Community Grant Projects:

-1st Phoenix Community Center (Talent) – $750

-Bohemia Park (Cottage Grove) – $5,000

-Building Healthy Families (Wallowa) – $10,000

-City of Bandon – $3,500

-City of Mosier – $25,000

-Crook County Parks & Recreation (Prineville) – $10,000

-Drexel H. Foundation (Vale) – $10,000

-Dufur Recreation District – $2,000

-Joseph Branch Trail Consortium (Elgin) – $18,000

-Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative (Corvallis)- $8,000

-Wallowa Band Nez Perce Trail Interpretive Center (Wallowa) – $20,000

-Wallowa Land Trust (Enterprise) – $10,000

-Oregon Adaptive Sports (Bend) – $4,300 

About Cycle Oregon Fund Community & Signature Grants: Projects must fit within the scope of three categories: Environmental Conservation and Historic Preservation, Bicycle Safety & Tourism and Community Projects. An essential element to any grant request is the advancement of support for diverse ethnic, racial, and cultural backgrounds and varied abilities.
