MISSION – The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation is experiencing an increase in COVID-19 cases. As of Wednesday, there were 31 active cases on the reservation.
Interim Communications Director Jiselle Halfmoon said that Yellowhawk Tribal Health is mobilizing and advising its members to come in for testing if they are not feeling well or if they have been exposed to the novel coronavirus.
“We do have a mobile testing and vaccination unit on site up at Wildhorse Resort and Casino, which is available to the public daily except Monday from 2-8 p.m.” Halfmoon said.
Halfmoon said Yellowhawk-eligible patients can go to the drive-through at the clinic itself for either testing or vaccinations. It is open Monday through Friday.
